Im having difficulty figuring out how to do the wireframe blast....
atm i am using an overlay from the playblast and in after effects combining that with a render backing and a rendered mask layer.... this process is fairly long and only reveals a small amount of wireframe that is fairly soft on the rendered backing.... any changes made to one video file and i need to render out each pass all over again... mask, wire,backing, and extra details. 8P

the BEAST! all modeled up and a base rig test added in to test some movements.

Also here is the Zbrush model. Zbrush turned out to be too difficult to integrate back into maya as a working model. as a still image the model is great but for animation there is too much information in the model. unfortunately a dead end...

Spaceship Redesign and refinement.
Small transporter class ship. maximum 2 crew, small cargo hold.
not like a space fighter!
Blocky and maybe too big.
Very star fighter'sh
Wings are not good for a re-entry to atmosphere.
Lose the guns an we have a winner! ill have to add plates to the bottom of the ship for a re-entry version.

Found images i like the smooth design but still looks like a starfighter ship.

Exhibition Concepts.
here is my concept for the exhibition space...... its a lil crowded and requires heaps of work for it, but i think it has a lot of room for customization and covers all the areas we as multimedia students can offer. like print media, hands on touch screens, flash programs and of course animation and motion graphics.
here it is, say hello to UV (i kinda came up with the name on the spot..... i thought of heaps of different ones, layers, the street, ultra-motion, ultra hype, list goes on an on.

Exhibition research. having a lil trouble adapting the graffiti to the space, from my meetings with troy we found that the space wasn't very engaging, the space should come out more. I've got some example of 3D sculpture graffiti that hopefully without being too much like a sculpture space we could integrate some somewhere..... Here's some 3D example artwork.

Exhibition Concepts.
Heres some initial concepts for my street grafiti design. i think i focussed on transport ar lil too much. From the exhibition last year i found that i didnt like people walking in front of me while i was trying to watch something on the screens and my legs got really tired standing around the whole time. so with that i tried to add booths and seating for my exhibition.... hopefully...
ok so wrong version of maya here ill post them later :P
